Hot Sauce for Steak

Ingredients

For About 2 pounds of Steak

2/3 cup chopped onions
1/3 cup chopped green bell peppers
2 tablespoons olive oil
2/3 cup diced tomatoes
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon chile powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
2/3 cup ground peanuts
1 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup sour or heavy cream

Preparation

  1. Sauté the onions and peppers in the olive oil for 5 minutes in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the tomatoes, salt, chile powder, and paprika and sauté for 5 minutes. Stir in the peanuts and broth and simmer for 30 minutes. Stir in the cream, pour over your steak, and serve.
