Simple Basil Paste

Ingredients

3 cups firmly packed fresh basil leaves
4 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1/4 teaspoon salt

Preparation

  1. Process all the ingredients with the steel blade of a food processor to a very fine paste. Scrape the bowl occasionally so that all the leaves are puréed.
